Tito has twice the wrestling Vera does, and Machida put him on his back a few times with assorted trips and throws. As did he with Soko,Nak,and practically everyone else he's faced. Vera wouldnt be any different.

How am I talking out of my ass?? Machidas BJJ is levels above Veras. Much like Werdums was. Whether I use > or >>>>>>> it means the same thing,Machidas BJJ is superior to Veras.

I think vera beats just about everyone at 205. He was strong enough to fight 3 rounds with a giant man in sylvia so, dropping down is going to do wonders for him...imo. He is going to be a nasty mix of speed and power at 205 and not many guys are going to be able to handle it...imo.

Vera has good potential and imo can do well enough @ 205.

I agree here, he dodges Lyoto and then tries to put the spotlight on 2 other fighters so people would stop talking about him.

tito has twice the wrestling as vera? b.s. He wrestled in highschool and junior college, and he didnt make any impact when he wrestled at bakersfield. Vera used to train at the US Olympic training center with world class guys and has good greco skills.
And Lyoto's bjj and Werdum's bjj arent even comparible. Werdum is on a higher level than lyoto and is also much bigger. And i'm not hugging vera's nuts, you're showing your baseless hate like you usually do

If you dont think Ortiz is twice the wrestler Vera is,you're just straight up delusional. Same goes to thinking Veras bjj is better,or even on par with Lyotos. You're purely talking out of your ass. Has Vera even ever taken someone down in MMA?! And how many guys has he submitted? One. Who's ground game is quite mediocre to say the least.
And baseless hate? Please. I said he'd get tooled by Wandy,Hendo, and Lyoto and then the nuthuggers came outta the wood work with a vengeance.

I think Vera is making a very interesting move. I agree that his combination of speed and power will look great in 205, but don't forget he is jumping from probably the worst to the best division in the UFC. He's power will remain the same, since he only has to loose little weight to fight in 205, but this division is stacked with some of the best fighters of past and present times. How well Brandon Vera will do in 205 remains an enigma to me.

Are you fucking serious or really that ignorant? Vera is a Lloyd Irvin brown belt and has great BJJ. His wrestling is fantastic and IF Machida got him down, he wouldn't be able to sub him. Do you know who Lloyd Irvin is? If not, go do some research and come back.
Vera Sub'd Asseurio Silva who is a BJJ black belt, please explain to me how his ground game is quite mediocre, I can't wait to hear this....
People wouldn't be fucking hating on you if you weren't making ignorant statements like this.

you know, I would take the time to explain to you why you are wrong in every aspect of your post, but I think that's no longer necessary...
