I agree. Silva didn't look very good against Ricco and Sergei is a WAY better fighter than Ricco. This would probably be the biggest test of Silva's career.

and Sergei vs. Kimbo? If there is a god, he'll make this happen. Sergei by 1st round brain trauma.

I wasn't hating on them. I was only asking the question. I want Elite to suceed because the UFC needs competition. I'm also a big fan of Strikeforce and Dream. I love watching other org's outside of the UFC. My point was, is it okay for an organization to go get someone that has never fought in their organization before to name as their number one contender? I wasn't shitting on the decision, I think Sergei is a great signing for them. You totally misunderstood what I was trying to say. And my sarcastic comment was aimed at Gary Shaw's questionable decisions more so than Elite. I hope CBS does push him out.
