Vernon White out of Affliction Banned- For Use of Diueretic

Veteran fighter Vernon White has been pulled from the July 19 "Affliction: Banned" event.
MMAjunkie.com (UFC blog for UFC news, UFC rumors, fighter interviews and event previews/recaps | MMAjunkie.com) today confirmed with the 36-year-old fighter's management team that White has been scratched from his televised bout with Antonio Rogerio Nogueira. Their fight had been scheduled for the FSN portion of the event.
According to K.O. Dynasty Sports Management, White recently competed in a regional show and tested positive for a diuretic that he didn't know was a banned substance.
The fight took place May 31 at the Cox Pavilion in Las Vegas as part of an Xtreme Fighting Association event. White defeated Anthony Brown via unanimous decision.
White plans to file an appeal with the local commission, according to his manager.
The White-Nogueira bout was a late addition to Affliction's debut event. Despite his 27-32-2 record, White has faced many of the sport's elite fighters during his 15-year-career.
Currently, there's no word on a possible replacement for White, but MMAjunkie.com will have further updates on this story posted later today.

I think tito can compete on this card...it has to be 60 days from his last fight contractually

60 days would be too soon. He last fought May 24. So July 21-22 range. I thought the exclusive period was 30 days. Either way, I don't see them putting it together in that short period of time. I could always dream though. Maybe Affliction II.

This is the kind of stuff you run into with open contracts. Thats why you see alot of these orgs that started out with open contracts slowly making them more and more restrictive.

On a semi-related note, did Aleks get a visa to come to the states? I know there were some concerns regarding his history, but I'm not sure if it got resolved or not. That'd suck if Nog and Aleksander fights don't happen.
