Well you have Franklin at 2 when he is barely top 5, and you have Sherk above guys like JZ, Kawajirri, Ishida etc which is crazy. Plus top 5's are really quite straight forward to rank

Believe me, I'd love to put Sherk way farther down than 5 but I believe Sherk is a beast at 155 and could muscle the guys you just named.

As far as Franklin, I don't understand where your assessment lies. He's lost 3 times in his career and 2 of those losses were against the best fighter in the world. I'd hardly consider that being barely top 5. But that's the beauty of opinion. You and I have the freedom to disagree and I didn't feel like going farther than top 5.

diego sanchez is above alves, shields, and serra. alves beat karo who diego already beat, and hughes wasn't as big a win as everyone is saying. shields hasn't beat anyone in the top ten, and serra was only top ten because he beat st. pierre, who later avenged his loss.

edit: in addition, diego has only lost--close decisions--to fitch and koscheck, so okay he's behind them. but before those losses, diego was the top ufc ww contender, having beaten florian, gassaway, diaz, alessio, parisyan, and riggs. then after the decision losses, diego picked up two finishes, including one over mid-level luigi. diego is ready to make another run at the title and i hope he gets to fight alves next.
