haha! dont get me wrong, i like wanderlei A LOT but, thiago has mean ground and pound and excellent jiu jitsu, and his standup and wrestling is decent to good. how do you suspect wanderlei will "kill" thiago? u must be a wanderlei nuthugger. i like both guys a bunch though, and i hope that they dont fight. WAR SILVA, lol.
if the fight does happen, i hope the commentators say "may the best silva win"

I think it would have better for the UFC to put Rashad Evans vs Thiago Silva like they originally tried to do. Then you could have had Chuck fight Machida for the 1 contender spot. I remember reading and article were John Hackleman said that he didnt want Chuck to fight Machida. Maybe thats why the UFC gave him Rashad??

Even Chuck and Serra don't drive me nuts with their crap like bad sportsmanship that Thiago displays especially when the wins come from guys like Houston Alexander and James Irvin. Not exactly lighting it up. Let's see him do that shit to Wandy.

I get why you get annoyed by this kind of behavior, but remember it's not exactly chess these guys compete at. The adrenaline rush after you knock someone out must be off the charts and you no doubt feel like a primeval warrior who just conquered an enemy. I don't think these guys give much thought to their "victory dance." It's probably just instinctual and expressing how they felt the first time they won, rather than what kind of person they are in reality. Seems to me most of the fighters always show a lot of respect for the other guy unless there is some sort of a personal issue between them, including T. Silva.

Thiago almost got knocked out by Antonio Mendes. obviously Wandy has some heavy hands. I'll take Wandy via brutal first round ko

I think its gonna be a War, but Wandy gonna get the "W" . Wandy is a Dangerous guy 2 be fightin righ now, he looks so Focused.
He ran thru Jardine like nothin. But T. Silva will be a good Opponent for Wandy, they both like 2 Bang.

Wanderlei Silva was offered the fight and he turned it down. He said that a fight with Vera needed more prep time and he preferred to wait and fight on the December card. There are now talks of Wanderlei fighting T. Silva in October. Vera-Wanderlei was offered to Wanderlei before Anderson Silva was signed for the card. Then Vera turned down the Machida fight and was given Reese Andy.
