Not really, I've cooled down a little about that one. I may get re-energized when Serra's prefight trash talking starts back.
On to my point about Thiago. I hate fighters, or sports figures in general that stand over a defeated opponent. It's taunting and has no place in sports period in my opinion. Celebrating is one thing, standing over a downed opponent and then that stupid throat slash taunt is demeaning. In the NFL, if a player stands over a downed opponent you can get fined and penalized for it. It's a personal foul. And yes, this coming from a Tito fan. For the record, I hate Tito's gravedigger celebration. I also find that demeaning.
Note: I wasn't literally wishing for Wanderlei to spit on T. Silva. My vitriol was boiling but I would find it demeaning if anyone spit on someone they just beat.

Ok good, because that's a little bit more unacceptable than what you found so distasteful, standing over someone
What about Anderson Silva, like when he finished Chris Leben and did that little dance? At the time that seemed pretty arrogant to me. Mind you, I don't have quite as big an objection with that sort of behavior as you do, so it didn't really bother me.

I honestly think that this fight could be up in the air. We all know that wandy is an awsome seasoned fighter and that tiago is on his way up. They are both great fighters. The only thing that I can say from watching history is that we know wandy can have bad days, while tiago is still riding the winning wave right now. That could be a deciding factor. I want silva to stop this guy early in his career so that he can get 'checked' a bit by an experienced fighter. That would be good for silva and good for tiago's experience. Go wandy!

I'm not a real big fan of the extravagant celebrations, I'm a more act like you've been there before guy, real laid back, but if guys want to celebrate, I'm not going to argue. But when a guy stands over his opponent acting like a thug, it makes my blood boil. There's never been a guy to get under my skin faster than Thiago. Even Chuck and Serra don't drive me nuts with their crap like bad sportsmanship that Thiago displays especially when the wins come from guys like Houston Alexander and James Irvin. Not exactly lighting it up. Let's see him do that shit to Wandy.

I'm with you on the "been there before" attitude. BUT if say the guy is a dude like Melvin Guillard then he deserves a little bit of what Clementi threw down in his interview
EDIT; see my sig for a good one!

Wandy vs Thiago would be a good fight but Wandy would win. Thiago almost got Ko'ed in his last fight. Wandy will be the most agressive striker he has ever faced.
I think Wandy is one of the few fighters who has the skills to beat Machida. I think Tito did good in the clintch and thats where Wandy would win the fight. Im not so sure Wandy would wand to fight Machida since there friends and have trained together.
Honestly Chuck should be fighting Machida instead of Rashad. Especially if he wants another title shot. I think the UFC is scared there posterboy might loose though. We all know that Chuck gets what he wants anyways.

Thiago doesn't need to get in there with someone like Wandy right now. He needs a mid tier 205'er like Bonnar or Jardine. I like both guys but Wanderlei would beat him the fuck down.
