I am torn, but I think i have to agree with you on this Palma (i seem to be doing that a lot lately). I think Rickson is still as good as they get. Now I know he's 50. but I think in his prime Rickson would have destroyed fedor. I still think he could beat him. It's SO hard to keep a fight from going to the ground, and especially when it's someone as good as Rickson. Once there, the fight's over

Rickson hasn't fought anybody with an once of the skill of Fedor.

I mean lets be real here, Rickson will be fighting off his back and Fedor is going to be punching him through the mat! Fedor has never been subbed, or beaten for that matter, let alone by a guy with absolutely no stand up or wrestling skills what so ever!

Fedor would make a prime Rickson look worse than Big Nog, let's not even talk about a 50 y/o Rickson.

I don't doubt Rickson has some of the best BJJ ever but we all haven't seen any HW who has a better all around ground game that Fedor.

Are we talking a straight grappling match or MMA? Cause if its MMA, ground or standing, Rickson is getting the hell beat out of him. Armbars, triangles, chokes aren't quite as easy to sink in when a HW like Fedor is pounding your face off your skull.

Rickson was a great fighter when the rest of the world knew nothing about fighting. Rickson, prime or today's model, gets beat unconscious in less than 2 minutes easy by Fedor.

Second of all, why do people think just because you have the last name "Gracie" that they all stand behind eachother and pump eachother up? Heilo, Ryan, and Rorian all have a school together, Royce has his own school, and Ricson has his own School and they all compete with eacother... if you ask any of them who is the best they will all tell you themselves are the best.

And lol, you think Rickson fighting from his back would be a bad thing? Rickson's guard is unparalleled... Fedor would keep the fight standing at all costs.

It is so hard to make an assumtion because Rickson was, and probably still is, so good at taking people down and embarassing them. Although the fighters have definitely evolved since his heyday. But lets be honest, Fedor is Fedor. Right now, it's really hard to believe that a guy who hasn't faught in so long, who is 50, can take a man who is at the top of the food chain. It is possible, but highly unlikely.

I disagree with the prime one right now he would just because of age and strength but Rickson in his prime would win 100% of the time IMO!
