Martin Kampmann & Bisping
Had a good performance against rivera. He was a good up and comer before his enjury. and he didnt look to rusty or anything.
what kind of impact do you guys think he can have at 185?
hes 4-0 now having beaten rivera, mcfedries, leites and wallace.
do you think he should have 1 more fight, then a title fight?
also with bisping looking great against jason day, how do you think he is going to fare in the 185lb division?
Right now 185 is doing alright, they got bisping, kampmann, okami and almieda on there way up, and a few others.

I wanna see Bisping vs Leben/Franklin/Hendo.
Imo he loses all 3.
Though him vs Kampmann would be interesting.

I do agree that Bisping looked the best we've seen him yet. Physically, he looked great IMO. He clearly overwhelmed Jason Day and handled him with seemingly relative easily. However, I still think time will tell that Bisping is a mid-card fighter at best. In his pre-fight interview when he said something like he'd go thru the majority of the MW division with ease, I about threw up. I just havent bought into Bisping. I too think Leben, Franklin and Hendo beat Bisping, as would Cote.

I couldn't agree more! Definitely a mid-card fighter imo. You can add Okami and Jason MacDonald to the list.

His ground and pound is very precise.
IMO he has some of the best ground n pound in all of MMA. Not Fedor's level, but it might be above Tito's ( I can't remember the last time he finished a fight via gnp besides Shammy).
Obviously we haven't seen Bisping fight top guys, but from what I have seen, his gnp is extremely brutal and effective.
It would be nice to see him fight Leben or somebody higher up. I think the UFC is going to start giving him harder comp now.

Extremely brutal might be pushing it a bit.
Effective would be a better way to describe it.

I think Bisping would TKO JMac. Okami would be a tougher fight but Bisping has incredible takedown d so it could go either way IMO. Swick gave Okami some trouble on the feet and I think Bisping could too. If he can stay off his back I think he beats Okami, if only by simply out working him a la Franklin.
