I would think that would change now that "the Don" has entered the game, or at least it better or they are just gonna be sellin to the hardcores and not to the rest of the retards who haven't jumped aboard the MMA train, yet.

Not only the MMA promotion. Most people, aside from mma fans, don't know the clothing company exists. I love their clothing, I love their fight card, but their marketing tactics are terrible.
Hi Affliction, this is bZa, I own an advertising agency, call me anytime.
Affliction on Thursday morning announced a partnership with Donald Trump. Details of the partnership are expected to be announced at a press conference on Thursday in New York. Also expected at the press conference is the announcement of the signing of former UFC champion Andre Arlovski.
Arlovski confirmed to Sherdog.com’s Loretta Hunt that he has signed with Affliction for three-fights, beginning with a bout on July 19 against Ben Rothwell.
“We are very excited to be partnering with the most recognized and accomplished business mogul in the world, “ said Tom Atencio, vice president of Affliction. “Trump is a true visionary who shares our belief in the future of MMA.”
“I have been a fan of professional sports since childhood, and I am particularly impressed by the athleticism, courage, and strength of these disciplined athletes.” said Donald J. Trump. “This particular sport resembles my business style of being fast paced, strategic, and aggressive…remembering to never give up. I am particularly excited to partner with Affliction and become a major player in promotion of MMA; the youngest and fastest growing sport to emerge in the last century.”
Affliction’s debut event, “Banned,” is scheduled for July 19 at the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif. It will be available on pay-per-view in both the United States and Canada.
The main event features the world’s No. 1 ranked heavyweight and former Pride Fighting Championships titleholder, Fedor Emelianenko, facing the No. 5 ranked heavyweight and former Ultimate Fighting Championship heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia. A heavyweight feature bout pits No. 4 ranked Josh Barnett in a grudge rematch with Pedro Rizzo, who is the only man ever to knock Barnett out.
Bouts Scheduled to Air on Pay-Per-View:
-Fedor Emelianenko vs. Tim Sylvia
-Josh Barnett vs. Pedro Rizzo
-Matt Lindland vs. Fabio Negao
-Renato "Babalu" Sobral vs. Mike Whitehead
-Ben Rothwell vs. Andre Arlovski
Bouts Scheduled to Air on Fox Sports Net:
-Aleksander Emelianenko vs. Paul Buentello
-Trenell "Savant" Young vs. Mark Hominick
Preliminary Bouts:
-Antonio Rogerio Nogueira vs. Vernon "Tiger" White
-Justin Levens vs. Ray Lazama
-Mike Pyle vs. Brett Cooper
-J.J. Ambrose vs. Patrick Speight
It's great and all that everyone is so siked about this card, and it look stacked, but you do realize that there business plan is to do 3 shows, and then probably pull out right. That was all over the forums just a few weeks ago.

With Trump buying part of the company there is no way this is a 3 show and done deal as long as they can make money. I do know that they said they wanted to hopefully make money by show 2 or 3 though. Don't remember them saying they only wanted to put on 2 or 3 shows.
Here is the news conference from New York on May 22, but I don't know if that is a typo or what because it was at Trump Towers and "the Donald" was there. But anyways enjoy:

Any concrete news on Alexs and FSN showing the undercard? All I've heard is internet rumors, and would like to see something in print. Thanks
