I still haven't heard about this event outside of this website and a few sports sites. At least elite did some telvision advertising. And Trump just sees this as a way to make more money. Just another Billionaire who wants to strike while MMA is getting hot. I still can't wait to see the final pay out for this card. It is going to be crazy high. And how many guys does Affliction actually have under contract really?
To me... this just reinforces the idea that MMA, as a sport... is about to explode. Donald Trump didn't make all that money by investing it in his personal interests.
Yeah... he may be a fan.... but he's a business man first. It's on national TV now... people everywhere are talking about it...
I think this sport's about to explode into the main-stream. Trump may be a fan, but you'd be foolish if you didn't think he expected to make some fat cash out of it.
this has been coming for some time... wierd that its official now and I still don't really care.... maybe its his affiliation with Tito that causes that.
This is bigger than your like, or dislike for a particular fighter.
This is a guy with amazingly (famously) deep pockets, throwing his support (and cash) behind mixed martial arts.
Things are changing. MMA's taken HUGE steps in the last year alone.
I could see Tito buying part of the promotion with Jenna and with the roster that Affliction already has + Tito + Jenna(lol) + Donald FUCKING Trump = HUGE FUCKING SUCCESS.

I will reserve judgment on how HUGE this is, to me it would depend on Trumps real motivation. just $$, does he believe MMA is what we all know it is (awsome and ready to explode), or does he have some weird man crush on tito and was talked into it..lol
