Simple, Gomi got submitted. Kid is one of the p4p best but i almost left him out because i'm not sure he's fighting for a while.
Horn is retired. Gono could be a good debate to be ahead of Baroni.

I actually think you did a pretty good. job. A lot could be debated but rankings are pretty subjective anyway. Like I said good job I for one am not going to debate these until some fighters lose or win convincingly.

As for Franklin over Hughes, that's a close one. Either way could be argued. I liked Rich over Matt because Matt was beaten by Penn in quick fashion and then was again beaten up by him again for two rounds until the fatigue/rib injury whatever took place. St. Pierre also beat him up a little when they were standing, but credit to Matt he still came out on top in those two fights. But because it's hard to chose between those two you have to start looking at other factors other than win/loss. Aside from 3 years ago when he was stopped by Machida in a very good fight (a guy who still is undefeated and just caught Rich with 1 punch that rocked him and jumped on him), he has dominated everyone put in front of him. Also because it's a p4p ranking i include skill level and i fully believe Rich is a lot more well rounded than Matt. If Rich totally dominates Silva in this upcoming fight then i WILL argue as to why he is a head of Matt, for now if someone thinks Matt that's fine because i think they're neck and neck. Don't forget Chuck he's with them also, this could easily be a 3 way debate with a lot of good arguments for each of them.
Hansen dropped due to his back to back losses to two top LWs in Kawajiri and Sakurai, while one was a DQ that proved nothing, it's still a loss. They should've had a rematch shortly thereafter. That's a tough division there, a lot of talent. As for Kenny, i probably wouldn't even have him in the top 15 maybe not even top 20, well he might squeeze in the 20 but i'm not sure. He hasn't been around the sport long enough or have enough fights to justify him being ranked high. Just because he's getting a title shot (no one thinks he should get) doesn't sway my thinking at all.
Now i'm not gonna debate with everyone because some of this was based off of what you guys thought i just made sure it was nothing crazy like Griffin being #3 in the LHW division.

ok first matt has been champ for a really long ime the most dominant champ in the ufc.and tell me who rich has fought to deserve to be number 2 on the pound for pound list?matt hughes has cleaned out everybody in the welterweight division, rich has yet to clean out the middleweight division .and there will be no arguing who's better pound for pound if matt beats st. pierre.and chuck deserves to be in front of rich as well.he's cleaned out thr LHW division winning his last seven fights by tko.while rich couldent finish lousio almost got ko'd by lousio, almot got beat by JORGE RIVERA he even got rocked by evan tanner.

The only ones I highly disagree with are Kid at #1 and Aurelio at #4, everything else is fine and debatable. And finally someone put Anderson Silva where he belongs, the guy is not top 3.

linland
How is Matt Linland ahead of Denis Kang and Paolo Filho? Either of these two would hand him his ass. Filho would submit him and Kang would beat him so bad, it'd be Linland's worse beating since the Terrell fight.

I liked the lists, except for Baroni being Top Ten. I don't like one thing about him and don't think he's that skilled.
I'm AMAZED this thread isn't blowing up with people flipping out over Wand being #3.
Lastly, I think Cruz's lists should be taken down and we should allow BrittneySpearsGuy to do the REAL Top Ten.... I'd actually piss my pants if that happened... Please God let it.

Wouldn't Florian be #1 in every weight class?

i Love how Kid Yamamoto retires and is rewarded the #1 LW spot
I agree with the P4P

I like most of the Rankings except that Sudo isn't a top 10 LW and Baroni isn't a top 10 MW. I like Sudo and I'm a big fan of his, but he hasn't beaten anyone really noteworthy in awhile. He's more of a fan favorite than anything.
Baroni is just not top 10 material whatsoever. He has a 9-7 overall record and has lost 2 out of his last 3.
Norfumi Yamamoto is a top 10 LW but it's hard for me to see him as a #1. His biggest wins are against Sudo and Uno and those 2 are borderline top 10. I'd keep Gomi at #1 because he's fought better competition over the last few years and still has a very impressive record.
