Man, I don't get caught up on the fact he mentions training a lot during the broadcast. The first couple of times I took buddies to see a UFC PPV, the first thing they'd say, "Hey its the Fear Factor Guy!".

Rogan is a celebrity, albeit a b-level one, and doesn't have to get in the Octagon to prove anything. The fact that he has a background in martial arts and currently trains some MMA gives him some creditability. But he's always going to be a comic and a commentator.

Only in pro-wrestling would you expect a commenter to strap them up.

After only two years, Rogan earned a black belt at age 15, and achieved a degree of fame as a four-time state Taekwondo champion. In 1987, he won the American Open Tae Kwon Do Championship, and later, as a lightweight champion, went on to beat the middleweight and heavyweight title-holders to obtain the Grand Championship.

Rogan has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for many years and was recently awarded his brown belt by Eddie Bravo

haha, I'm not sure about the payment stuff. I don't think he would have to pay to train with Eddie anyway. They are really good friends, always traveling and stuff together. yeah joe is a good comentator..him and trigg should fight..he likes to use the same words alot tho..that gets a little annoying..for example

during a stand fight "these guys are throwing"
when someone gets caught with a good shot "he hit him on the button"

and have you ever noticed how every black fighter to joe rogan is "explosive" whats that all about?? this guys explosive he says
