I'd love to see Shogun and Soko throw it down in the cage. I'm not sold on either of them in the UFC (Shogun is 0-2 lifetime fighting in cages), and Soko was dispatched like a chump by Machida. Soko did very well in his last fight but I am still not sold on the guy. (I'm aware of who he has KO'ed, but I argue that anyone can be KO'ed if you hit them properly.)
Personally, I see Shogun wrecking Soko if they fight, but realistically it's a pick 'em fight.

Does Soko know something I don't? Shogun isn't exactly a guy i'm gonna throw gas on. I'd like to see the fight but outside of somethin' bizarre i'm not sure how Soko takes this. .. ah well. i'm all for seeing it.
Otherwise. .. ya know Soko "could" be healthy and ready to go by August and a certain Axe Murderer could use a dance partner since his last date went to sleep early. ..

I'd like to see Shogun fight Chuck first because that's what we all have been waiting for and Chuck isn't getting any younger. In the meantime, feed him to Wandy. A 5-2 MMA record and fighting your last fight on the prelims isn't exactly a huge bargaining chip. I saw what he did in 2 fights in Pride but Nakamura isn't exactly Rampage either. Prove yourself, then challenge Shogun. In the meantime, it'd be nice to Wandy take him down a peg or 2.

I think Shogun would be a harder fight, since Shogun's taller and would have a better chance to stay away from Soko's haymakers. I know Wandy is tough as a $2 sunday steak on a tuesday, but still... I'd give Wandy the edge in their fight if he comes with a gameplan and doesn't just try and exchange.
I think Shogun would have an easier time clinching Soko and keeping him at range -- when neccessary -- with kicks. Either way, I'd definitely pay to see either fight. (Preferably both.)

Sounds good to me, I would take Shogun and Wandy in both of these fights.

i see Shogun taking this fight to the ground and dominating Soko, but you gotta give Soko the "strikers chance" hes got the KO power to end fights,,but i dont see that happening though

Big difference between Nakamura and Rua or Wanderlei. IMO, he needs to actually beat someone in the UFC before he fights either one of them. Bonnar, Thiago Silva, Houston Alexander, or even Jardine now would be more likely.

Soko definitely has the strength advantage, namely that one-punch KO power that Shogun lacks. I've made it clear before that I don't consider Shogun a world-class striker, but his muay thai is technical enough to gradually wear Soko down, and possibly set up for a TKO.
Based on what we've all seen, of course, if it were to go to the ground then Soko'd be toast.
Still, I'd love to see the fight, almost more than Shogun/Liddell.

I think Shogun has a way better shot at beating Soko than Chuck, but I want to see both fights eventually. (Hell, I'd like to see every combination of those 3 fighters.)
