UFC Fighters That Should Move to WEC.
The Jardine thread got me thinking. What fighters do you guys think should be moved down to the WEC to hone their skills a bet more, or just so they can advance a bit, because they probably won't in the UFC.
205, Houston Alexander
185, Alessio Sakara, Kendall Grove, and Marvin Eastman
170, Josh Burkman and Anyone from TUF 6 but Mac, George, and maybe Roman.
155, Rob Emerson, Matt Wiman, and Melvin Guillard

the only one I wouldnt agree with is George (I assume you mean sotiropoulos), I would like to see him a few more times in the UFC to see what he has, he impressed me his last fight

agreed 90% but I think Alessio Sakara could pose some problems for new 185ers and they should hang on to him a bit longer. How about Brock Lesnar? I think he could learn a thing or two about a thing er two in the WEC and bring a big name draw to the org  Oh yeah and dont forget warmachine and corey

No one from 205 or 185 is going to WEC. Didn't Zuffa announce not even a month ago that they were transfering the WEC Middleweight and LHW roster over to UFC so the WEC could focus on the smaller divisions? That makes this a moot point.

There's no HW division in the WEC, so Brock can't go down there anyway.

I have been reading this forum for a long time, so I finally decided to post. The only one I disagree with is Matt Wiman. He is 3-0 since TUF, and also gave Spencer Fisher all he could handle. I understand he hasn't fought stiff competition but he has beaten everyone that the UFC has put in front of him.

Frankie Edgar needs to go there and fight 145...he seems pretty small at 155 if you ask me.

I've always thought that if Zuffa wants to throw the TUFers a bone that didnt win the series, give'em 2-3 matches in WEC. Dont fill up even the prelims with these guys. No offense to them, but the UFC is the bigtime and losing on their show shouldnt give you a fight on a UFC card. Put these guys on WEC and if they do well, move'em up. If they dontl, move'em out.
That being said, keep Wiman, fire Koppenhaver, Corey Hill to WEC.
Also, IMO, I'd rather WEC keep their 185 and 205 ranks. Gives good fighters exposure and exposes the fighters that just arent ready for bigtime mma.
