UFC website has Big Nog only as an interim champ
I couldn't believe that the UFC website has randy as the current heavy weight champ and Big Nog as the interim title holder...Does that mean that UFC may still try to work things out with randy? who knows but I'm sure Big Nog might be pissed that hes not the legit champ

Ok guys...take it easy on him. He is new here.
The answer to your question is that the UFC is suing Couture. To avoid being in a breach of contract, they are obligated to offer him fights, of which he has one left on his contract. This will allow them to say in court that they still considered him the champion and were offering him legitimate fights. For example, they offered Nog as his last fight and when he refused, or more precisely, did not answer at all (if I remember correctly), they had a interim title fight between Nog and Sylvia.
Until this mess is cleared up, they will continue to call Nog (or whoever beats him) an interim champ.

And I am pretty sure it is 2 fights left. He signed a 4 fight deal. Tim, GG, that leaves 2 more. Unless I am missing something.
Also their is a clause that as long as he is the champ, they can extend his contract another fight or another 6 months (I think).
Dammit! I don't mean to post on this crap, I just can't stop.

Well he is still Interim champ, and the UFC said they will keep it that way forever... or until Randy finishes his contract.

Well it can't be forever, his contract will end soon and when it does why would zuffa still call him the champ.
Randy has already stated he is no longer the champ and he considers Nog the champ.
Maybe Randy needs to make a video post it on youtube of him putting the HW title in the trash, then I think that would piss off Dana enough to make nog the Champ.
Remember AA was the interm champ for almost a year..

Who cares, Nog is the fucking champ, Randy is a fucking tool. It's only a matter of time before Nog gets the full blown champ treatment. Besides, anyone that knows MMA, knows Nog woulda beat Randy.
