I call bullshit. If you were in nam I think you were hit with the Agent Orange...and I thought you were done with this thread.

Even if you arent lying, you arent the oldest on here according to the thread that asks what age people are. Lets say you went to Nam at 17..very early in the war like 1964..that would make your birthday in 1947, you would be 61...that might make you the oldest. Only none of that ever happened.

I know there is another member thats 60.

Of course you won't ever see any of this because you are "done" with all Tito threads...and yes, you are a Tito nuthugger. It's ok. Maybe someone will start a twelve step program for you guys.

Love him or hate him. A genius or a moron....Ortiz makes some very valid points. UFC don't sell to the mainstream on the strength of their cards, they sell on the strength of their main events. Ortiz is as big a draw as anyone in MMA (mainstream not hardcore). He deserves a bigger slice of the pie than someone like a Machida who couldn't draw with a pencil.

Also, Ortiz makes a good point about the UFC generating a lot of money via DVD sales - hell if he fought on the event why shouldn't he get a share of the DVD sales? The same goes for the video game. Fighters don't have retirement pensions and they have short shelf lives. Hence, any way the UFC is making money from that fighter, the fighter deserves some compensation.

Granted it is unfair that lesser fighters get paid peanuts and there should more equality in pay but these guys are building their reputations as in boxing. However, due to UFC contracts they are unable to ‘stay busy’ and fight five or six times in the year to accelerate the process and supplement their income due to the fact that they are only permitted to fight at the UFC’s say so.

Also, I think comparing the UFC to boxing is like apples and oranges. The WBO doesn’t restrict a fighter from fighting the IBF world champion. The WBO doesn’t cash in on fights by releasing DVDs, video games or on line rentals. The UFC is more akin to the WWE with the control they have over their fighters and many wrestlers today earn nothing to the amount of work they put in.

Tito needs to be less concerned about the UFC and more Concerned with the fact that Machida is no joke.
