It would make no sense to give Tito the mic if the UFC is done with him. It would only hype up Tito more. They most likely won't show the ridiculous shirt that Tito wears after either, if they truly are going their own separate ways.

As if this ppv wasnt already going to make record sales, people cant wait to see what goes down between Dana and Tito. I just have that feeling tho that they (UFC) will do something to make Tito look stupid. Like maybe cut to commercial when he's about to talk or his mic wont work or they'll usher him out of the ring or something like that. Either way, IMO the ovation for Tito will be outrageous when he comes out. Tito has earned at least a few minutes so speak his mind. However like I said, I just feel like with some of the playground antics that Dana/UFC pull, Tito wont get his chance. But for the love of God I want Tito to win and do the gravedigger to Dana!!!

He leaves out the fact that MMA gets the numbers it gets because of bigger cards than boxing, more stars than boxing, and the stars are made and promoted by the organization.

If you don't think that tranlates into huge PPV buys just because Tito is on the card, you must have flunked math a lot. And Tito gets paid large because the wheel that squeaks the loudest and the most always gets greased first and more.

Call him a loudmouth, call him a showoff, call him a mediocre fighter past his prime, call him a media whore....but don't ever call him stupid. There are other guys that are just as talented or even better than Tito that haven't made near as much $$ and never will.

Back when Ali was in his prime as a boxer he talked smack constantly, and grabbed as much press as he could by showing off for the media. Why? Because half of the people showed up to see him because they loved him and wanted to see him win, and the other half hated him and showed up just hoping to see him get his ass kicked. But they came by the thousands and it worked great.

Dana said when Tito was winning he ignored his crap because he made them a boatload of cash, but now he's not and he doesn't want him around. I personally feel that BS goes both ways. Tito put up with Dana as long as he got good fights and made a lot of $$, but now he knows he won't. They have nothing more to offer him that he wants or needs, so he's ready to move on.

Think about it:

Tito got to do TUF and showcase his training skills, which had people signing up to train with Team Punishment by the truckload. He got to kick the crap out of Shammy and get paid huge for it twice. He got to increase his celebrity status from D list to A list and do the Celebrity Apprentice. His clothing line got bigger and greatly increased it's revenues. He's now banging one of the most successful and richest porn stars of all time. He also has a potential reality TV show of his own in the works.

And this last farewell fight of his with the UFC has generated probably the biggest buzz in the media, on the internet, and around every offce watercooler of any fight in the history of MMA, and he isn't even headining the PPV. Plus he has several good solid lucrative contract offers from other MMA organizations that have good TV deal and PPV deals ready and waiting, whether he beats Machida or not.

Even if Dana has the UFC cut Tito's mic and cut to commercial and/or block out Tito's t-shirt - the rest of the media people there and all of the spectators aren't under Dana' thumb - so it will be plastered all over everywhere anyway. And he did all of this with Dana doing everything he could and spending a ton of $$ trying to bury him and ruin his career.

Comparing Tito to Ali. Yeah, that makes sense. It's exactly the same. love him or hate him.....tito brings in money for dana and the ufc. is he cocky?....yes, of course he is. is it his fighting or his ego that brings in the money? or is it both? no doubt he brings baggage into the ring with him but i'd rather see him fight a top-level fighter like machida, then have tito end his ufc career fighting some cupcake.

Say what you want about him...but the guy helped a lot to build the UFC into what it is now. But when your boss acts like a douche bag and treats you like crap, regardless of the money - it's time to move on. Especially if you have several very good offers on the table by people that you are sure will treat you a hell of a lot better. And the bad blood between Dana and Tito goes way back to a long time ago when Dana was Tito and Chuck's manager, it's personal, and it isn't ever going to get fixed. So why should he stick around?

Tito gets paid what he does because he deserves it by working his butt off promoting the hell out himself, and by promoting the hell out of each fight he has been in, and that puts asses in the seats and a truckload of money in the UFC's bank account. He get $$ because he demands it, and they know he is worth it, love him or hate him.

Don King screwed Ali out of a lot of $$ and took advantage of him big time. And Ali stayed in the game way too long past his prime.
