Noons was whupping Diaz in that fight, but I think that if they fought again Nick wouldn't try to wade through the punches of a FORMER PROFESSIONAL FUCKING BOXER.
If Diaz had been able to get that fight to the ground, Noons would've been toast.
Watching the Diaz / Noons fight again brought back memories of Chuck -vs- Bablu. Especially after Dork dropped some wisdom in the last thread. Noons knows he wants to stay away from the ground; so he made Diaz try and box with a boxer. Too bad Nick's a BJJ guy with decent hands, because Noons definitely owns him striking.
I would love to see these 2 fight again. Nick is always good for some quality shit-talk.

Man, Nick reminds me of the guys I grew up with, straight up bout it. Nick is by far one of my favorite fighters, and him knocking out Lawler with that wimpy left hook was fucking awesome!

He left pissed of because he knew he could still fight yet it was stopped. You would leave angry too if you knew you could continue a fight yet was forced into a loss. And a title fight non the less.
Um, I'm sure Nick isn't the first fighter ever to feel he got shafted by a doctor - That's no reason to be a disrespectful and, in my opinion, spoiled contender. It's one thing to be angry, and another to have a piss poor attitude. And I'm harking on it so much because it's NOT the first time Nick's acted childish as hell (Sanchez, Riggs, Gomi, Lawler fights). And he gets a pass every time for all the wrong reasons. Imagine if it were some guy off of The Ultimate Fighter reality show or Kimbo doing these dumb things - They would get torn the fuck up on these message boards, and rightfully so.
I understand why people like Nick, but I also think he's the poster boy for overrated/bandwaggon driven fighters in MMA.

I have just as much love for Nick Diaz than any of you, but KJ beat him fair and square and I wish Nick would give the kid his props.
....But I do think he will smash KJ if they rematch.(But I thought he would smash him in their first fight)

Isnt Nick Diaz the "hit and run" fighter. He hits the bong and then runs to the arena to fight. I thought it was funny. Much respect to the Diaz brothers, They take a whippin but still are so slick they pull the submission.
