Tito always says he is healthy till we see him fight. Then it is about his injuries and how the 'Old Tito' is gonna come back next fight.

All that said, I think this is still about Tito and his ego. I think that he has to truly realize that he will never be champ in the UFC again. I think he would rather try to be champ in some lower league, than to be a middle of the pack guy in the UFC.

However, I don't know if EXC has a LHW division. I don't think Tito can make MW and if he moves up to HW, he loses one of his biggest advantages at LHW. Much like GSP at WW, Tito is a big LHW. He would be a small HW. His fighting style is not finess driven. He relies on size power and used to rely on conditioning. At HW all of those things would be detriments rather than assets.

I love Tito but MMA is not a sport where you can guarantee ANYTHING. I will be shouting obsenties and hoping Tito guts it out, but Machida is impossible to guarantee anything other than uncertainty with

I remember when Chuck liddells's coach (Hackleman). back out on supposed to be Machida/Liddell match on this june...b/c he was admitt that Machida's fighting style is a bad match up for Chuck...their not yet ready for him.

If Machida wins I would love to see him fight Chuck Liddell instead of it being Shogun. Im sure Chuck will fight Shogun cause he is the bigger name. This really doesnt matter cause Tito is going to grind out a decision win over Machida.

I want to see Chuck fight Forrest Griffin. It would be a first of it's kind fight for the TUF crowd, student vs teacher. And I would rather see it before Chuck is in his mid 40's so excuses could be thrown out the window.

NOTE: I'm not saying Chuck would make excuses if he was in his mid-40s and loses, but people would make excuses.

Whats Tito gonna say if he loses now, by the sounds of that interveiw he cant blame it on anything, but ya never know he usually comes up with some excuse why he loses a fight. Even when he fought Forrest and won he had an excuse that he was injured and thats why he couldnt finish the fight. Probably many more Tito Ortiz excuses to come in the future (May24th).

You guys act like he is just supposed to go in there and say im gonna fight and we are going to see what happens. He is gonna win and he thinks he is going to win . We always come down to hard on Tito , There are more People that doubt Tito more than Kimbo . The guy is a great fighter and carried the UFC on his back for years. They do not even promote him like they should anymore . Think about it how much do you think Tito vs Rua(i know Rua is injured im just using him as example) would have sold but they give him Machida . Nothing against Machida but he Couldnt draw the Main Event right now Tito could . Tito was not going to get a title shot even if he would've beat Rashad, Which that fight was bullshit taking a point away for grabbing the cage that quick . Bottom line is though There is blame to be put on both sides . I dont Blame Tito for wanting to go where the competition but there would be great matchups for Tito no Matter where he went. You will watch a Tito Fight love him or fucking hate him cause you either wanna see him win or get his ASS whooped.
