I think it makes all the sense in the world to put Brock and Coleman in the main event. Brock went to the University of Minnesota, so it's like a home field for him and an extra incentive for people to come check UFC out in a new territory. Plus Brock has name value so I'd put him at the top of the marquee everytime.
But, I think it could possibly be a bad thing to have his third fight be on his "home" turf. He's still so new that it could give him too much adrenaline and could make him too overzealous in the fight and make it more likely to make a mistake. Coleman may be old but he's also a fighter who knows how to win.
I think that's what happened to him with Mir. He was doing so well but he came at him like a freight train (like he also did in his first fight), you could tell he was just so amped up and out of the blue, he got caught in a submission that he said he worked on for weeks before the fight to get out of it if Mir tried it. He's so new, added pressure may not be good.
But either way, I think he has the potential to do a lot of big things in the UFC. He looks like a wrecking machine and once he gets even more confidence and skill, he's gonna be even scarier.
