IMO it makes sense as a main event. It'll be really good on ppv buys and I'm sure live gate will set records for minnesota. I know Dana's going the Freakshow route with Lesnar on this, but he kinda has to. Lesnar's one of the reasons I wish the UFC had a feeder league, like baseball does with the minors or the NFL with NFL Europe. Even with all his raw talent Lesnar's just not ready for the UFC and if he wasnt such a big name he wouldnt be there yet. Talent wise he could become the greatest HW to ever step foot in the octagon, but hes gonna have a shitty record before he gets to that point imo.

I think it makes all the sense in the world to put Brock and Coleman in the main event. Brock went to the University of Minnesota, so it's like a home field for him and an extra incentive for people to come check UFC out in a new territory. Plus Brock has name value so I'd put him at the top of the marquee everytime.

But, I think it could possibly be a bad thing to have his third fight be on his "home" turf. He's still so new that it could give him too much adrenaline and could make him too overzealous in the fight and make it more likely to make a mistake. Coleman may be old but he's also a fighter who knows how to win.

I think that's what happened to him with Mir. He was doing so well but he came at him like a freight train (like he also did in his first fight), you could tell he was just so amped up and out of the blue, he got caught in a submission that he said he worked on for weeks before the fight to get out of it if Mir tried it. He's so new, added pressure may not be good.

But either way, I think he has the potential to do a lot of big things in the UFC. He looks like a wrecking machine and once he gets even more confidence and skill, he's gonna be even scarier.

I dont know. I think Brock may have lost some drawing power after his loss to Mir. Sure, he'll sell tickets in MN, but i dont think he can carry a whole PPV as far as buys go. This card wont get as many ppv buys as the Feburary card did. Brock's coming off a loss. He is not the Next Big Thing so far. Is anyone as excited for Brock vs Coleman as they were for Brock vs Mir? I'm not. Brock should win this fight. At least with his fight with Mir, there were more question marks. Brocks first big fight/wrestling vs Ju Jitzu.

Meh. At least Florian vs Huerta is on the card.

Here's the problem with a feeder league though. Say it was the WEC, and they have a show on Versus and run out of the Pearl in Vegas or something. Is that really where you want to send a fighter who outdraws probably 98% of your roster?

is it bad that I think Kenny and Huerta should be the headliner instead of lesnar? i just don't give a fuck about that fight. They had better stack this one cuz I'm not paying to see lesnar. And if he loses to Coleman then can we please just get rid of him?

Him headlining is the reason I hate the guy. It is not really him it is the bull shit like this that comes with the dude. I am tiered of people doing things like this when MMA has come such a long way. Fuck Lesner even though he will probably win I want people to tool him for a while and have him come up like every other fighter in the world.

Tha Hammer will win this fight. Just like in 2000 at the pride gp, no one gave him a chance and look what happend. Igor took about 15 knees to head before it was stopped. Granted Coleman is older, but he will win.
