i dont think this should be a main event but w/e.

i really want lesnar to win. if he doesnt win this fight, i dont think his future im mma will be to bright. but i also dont really see how he can lose this fight.

I also don't see how this bout qualifies to be a main event. I respect these athletes because if the years of training and perseverence(fighting in small shows for little money) they have shown to make it to the big show. This is kinda like what the WWE did with Mayweather. Just a publicity thing and not taking the sport into a better direction. I know it may bring in some new fans, but in my opinion this fight isn't what MMA is about. Dana White may eventually turn this organization into a disgrace if he continues to sacrifice credibility for profit.

I don't think it should be the headlining fight either. I think it will be a good fight though - I don't think Coleman's gonna roll over for Lesnar. Not a lot of the fights have been listed or confirmed yet, have they?

To me, IMO, if a person is in a sport that he just started and brings all this hype that he is "the next big thing"(like his experience w/ the vikings) I cant help but to cheer against him.

Like before he signed w/ UFC he was demanding $ and title shots with just 1 win! I really didn't like that and thought it was a slap in the face to everyone that was in the UFC HW division.

Not that I dont like Lesnar its just I dont like the negative hype he brings. I think he showed signs of being a beast, I really thought he had Mir in that first minute of the fight. Then he got subbed.

If he works his way up the rankings w/ wins and gets a title shot, i'll give credit where credit is due. However, until then I'm gonna cheer against him.

Its just me and i'm an idiot.

lesner colman not a very good main event because colman back in the day was good and lesner has tons of promis but is 0-1 in ufc and olny 1-1 over all

This as a main event makes about as much sense as Kimbo Slice headlining a main event. You have a guy that's 1-1 as a pro in the main event, against a guy who just got inducted into the Hall of Fame but hasn't fought in over a year and a half and hasn't won in more than 2 years and is 2-3 in his last 5. Are we sure that EliteXC didn't set this up?

I think in the long run Lesnar will be a strong force to be reckoned with, I just don't think he's earned the right to main event just yet. If what you are going for is a big Minnesota native to headline, having Lesnar face Jesse Ventura or Kirby Puckett makes the same sense and that's 0.

It does sound kind of elite xc'ish when I saw the headline but , The angle there going to put on this thing man with Coleman being a UFC hall of famer,Lesnar being the next big thing. Can the Legend be stopped by they next big thing ,or will Colemans Expereince prove to be to much For the rising star .

Agree. Dana should have put the Mir vs Nog fight here. Thats a true main event.
