^Which is enough to keep him, he sells PPV's, that's what the UFC should be wanting, PPV sales, and not let personal feelings get in the way.

They shouldn't resign him because of all the shit talking, but if he beats Machida and puts on a good performance I think it would be a stupid move to let such a big name out of the org with all these new orgs coming out.
Dana better pray that Tito loses, it's the best case scenario to let him go for sure.

id like tito to stay with the ufc, things are just starting to get interesting at 205 with all the new additions and up-and-coming talent.

I agree and with the good progress Elite XC is showing losing him to them could hurt. They can set up a shamrock ortiz 2 and have everybody watching. I wouldn't toss him to the side just yet.

If you look at who everyone has fought at the top of 205 and looking at records, Tito has done just as much as the other guys at the top with the exception of Rampage and maybe Machida. And he will get his chance to prove that he's better than Machida in 6 days.

you guys ever wonder if the whole dana vs tito feud is just too sell the ppv's. just seems to me that you dont hear much of the tito n dana shit untill after an ortiz fight has been scheduled, and thats when the shit talking begins.i know the two genuinly dont like each other but i think maybe they have figured how to turn their personal fued into $$$$$....just a thought. dana has been called the vince mcmahon of mma, perhaps its true? LOL

However, as far as his talent goes, alot of people say that Tito's talent has diminished. People, including Dana White, critcize him because his only fights that he finished were against Ken Shamrcok. However, if I remember correctly, it was Dana White who brought Shamrock back and pushed that Ultimate Fighter grudge match and was quick to push a rematch and promote the hell out of it.
So should they walk away from each other, or should this dysfunctional marriage keep on going?

The UFC needs Tito even less than this board needs another useless Tito thread. I don't know who your source was, but they left off Shogun, and don't know the difference between re-signing a fighter and resigning a fighter. I wouldn't bother reading them anymore.

Shogun, conveniently overlooked, is 4 and 1 in his last five.

Yes, I think the whole thing is a bullshit fabricated soap opera.

People are still reading these Tito-Dana threads and even you took the time to read and post on it.

Simply a typo, no big deal.

Shogun had a torn ACL and that's difficult to come back from in any sport especially the type of fighter Shogun is. I do agree Shogun is alot higher than most of the guys on that list, but how will that knee be when he comes back. A few years back, Daunte Culpepper was QB of the Minnesota Vikings and one of the best QBs in the league. He tore his ACL and still hasn't been able to come all the way back. He's been on 3 teams in 2 years now and isn't even signed with anyone right now. I hope Shogun comes back with a vengeance, but it's speculation at best, to say what he will look like when he does come back.

I agree here, I think Tito and Dana holed up in an office somewhere and planned this whole war of words thing. It sells PPV and they are both about a good show and that ever so popular $$$$$. I've seen the Machida promos and he's very soft spoken, and even compliments Tito on a bunch of things instead of trashing him. I think Dana saw this and they were like, "we have to do something to sell this fight."

Comparing those records is kinda stupid actually, 2 of Tito's wins were against Shamrock so throw them out and your left with the Forrest win which could have easily gone the other way and should have at least been a draw.
LHW is he most stacked division in the UFC so losing Tito is not going to hurt them at all.
