It doesnt matter where the ufc goes they will still keep the same rules. You are going to have to face the facts that knees to the head of a downed opp, stomps, soccers gets will never be a part of any successful mma org ever again. Some people will be happy about this some will be sad but its a fact. Those techniques appeal to a very small % of the
general population and even more importantly they disgust a very large % of the population. As sports evolve they generally move away from the more brutal aspects of their orgin to become more acceptable to the general population. i.e reduction of rounds, ref stopages in boxing. Reduction in fighting, hits to the head in hockey. Million different rules to protect quarterback and restriction on types of hits and blocks in football. All these changes are not necessarly bad, first and foremost they protect the athelete, they bring more people into the sport which provides more money, more youth involvement and therefore a better pool of talent for the future of the sport.
So Germany, Phillipines, Japan, Austalia sound great and will be awesome for the sport just don't expect the rules to change in those different locales.
