Then during his UFC 80 victory interview, he said "Sean Sherk, your're dead." Then when Sherk got in the ring, he was all respectful, shook his hand, and said it's going to be a good fight. Then went back to the trash talk later. It's just wierd.
And I know it's good sportsmanship to make up after the fight is over despite all the trash talk but that all seems so fake to me. The most gratifying ending to a personal battle was when Clementi choked out Guillard and afterwards, they still hated each other. If you hate each other, don't fake it for buildup. Just hate each other, fight and go right on hating each other.

Yeah, I agree with you there.
-Tito and Ken hate each other. I believe that. No doubt.
-Tito and Chuck don't like each other. I think Tito is a afraid of Chuck, and Chuck sees Tito as a pest.
-Anderson Silva and Rich, respect each other.
-GSP and Serra seem to be cool now.
-I don't know if Serra and Hughes will be cool after they fight.
-I think that Sherk and Penn don't like each other, but it will be interesting to see how they act after the fight...

i dont like sean sherk as a fighter but he is a force in the lightweight division. the man has only lost twice and been stopped once. his conditioning is second to none and he's a great wrestler. bj is one of my top 5 of all time and i pray he wins, but this will definately be his toughest test to date imo. i wouldnt mind seein a five rounder. i love a good 5 round back and forth fight but those only come every couple of years it seems like (the last one imo was rampage vs. hendo).

[quote=TriangleChoke;457056]I think if Koscheck actually trained some wrestling in his preparation for a rematch with GSP, he would win the fight. Thats just my honest opinion. I dont think GSP would out wrestle a wrestler of Koscheck's caliber as long as Koscheck actually practices his wrestling. He trained pretty much all stand up for his fight with GSP because he expected a stand up war.
I'm not taking anything away from GSP because he controlled koscheck the entire fight, but if Koscheck actually came into the fight prepared to wrestle, I dont see gsp beating him.
The Fact that koscheck was out wrestled speaks volumes. I don't think koscheck is honestly better in any one discipline of mma. Even if GSP was getting "out wrestled" I think he would switch his game plan up. The new determination and will to win this guy has is through the roof and exactly what he needs because the talent is all there.
I do believe it would be a much more entertaining fight if it happend again. In recent fights GSP hasn't used his stand up that much but trust me, along with the rest of his game his standup is constently improving. Now thats scary.

I know I will get attacked for this, but Sherk always seems like a class act in all his interviews... Doesn't curse at anyone, call em names, or discredit his opponent....

True, I don't know if you saw GSP vs. Menjivar but he was taking him down and beating him until the ref got confused and thought Manjivar quit. A great wrestler like Koscheck can take anybody down and beat them up, so I'll give him a chance... I just don't think he'll be able to do it for a few more years.
