Interesting findings about the UFC...

Okie dokie. It's that time of week again. This time I did Cage Rage Results.

CAGE RAGE Trial time: Nov 2004 to 05/10/08 Total Fights 318

-45 KO = 14% of fights ending in Knock out. Vs UFC results which = 9%
-83 TKO = 26% UFC = 27%
-49 Decisions = 15% UFC = 31%
-28 Sub by Armlocks= 9% UFC = 5%
-07 Sub by Leglocks = 2% UFC = 2%
-50 Sub by Choke = 16% UFC = 19%
-25 Sub by Other = 8% UFC = 5%
-19 Doctor Stoppage = 6% UFC = 1%

-199 Fights ended in the first round which is a whopping 63%. UFC = 39%
-57 ended in the second = 18%. UFC = 22%
-62 ended in the third round which is 20%. UFC = 37%

-4 No Contests 5 Draws and 3 Disqualifications. 1 of each for UFC

-which means 80% of their fights end before the third round within the first 10 minutes of the fight.

-Something else that is interesting is that if the fight does make it to the 3rd then 79% of the time it ends in decision.

I have been having a lot of fun doing this research. Not only am I taking numbers down, but I have watched a ton of fights I never previously got the chance to. lol It's the bomb.
