agreed! both of the MW #1 contenders in recent months were black, Loiseau and Silva. but i do agree Dana is trying to look out for his "boys" as you put it LOL.
id say it's very fitting that people say Guillard is like a mini Kevin Randleman...and he has the potential to become champ at 155 sometime in the near future. my guess is it's gunna be Lauzon vs. Guillard for the #1 contenders spot at UFC 66 to face the winner of Sherk and Florian.

I can think about these causes:
1.Black people don’t train in MMA because they prefer other sports
2.I am wrong. Black people isn’t good at MMA
3.UFC doesn’t give oportunities to black fighters if the fighter is good enough to be the champion. (looking for more profits, I supposse)
What is your opinion about that?

Sorry to break it to you but MMA is not Pro Wrestling, It's not pre-determined the outcome, The reason there's not a black Champion is simply because there's not one out there thats better then the current champions. Maybe they just haven't entered MMA or haven't been given a shot, But hey Silva gets a shot.

I just re-read my post and hope my sarcasm was picked up on. I agree with all of your post on this thread and was trying to point out that the last title defense and this next one are/were both with very talented black fighters.

Ya, the sarcasm was obvious. I think Afro was just agreeing with you.
I can see why you'd want to make sure though. I had someone completely misunderstand what I was saying last week. Luckily, they asked me instead of just being pissed.

First, I am a black man. Me and my friends have talked about this before. In a sterio-type fashion I do believe that black people are the most athletic race in the world. Because it seems we rule every sport we get into so I kind of understand where he is coming from.
Yes, this may sound a little racist but I believe it's a fact that blacks seem to dominate every physical sport they get into.
IMO the only reason we haven't dominated this sport as of yet is because it's new and it's an expensive sport. Boxing, and Basketball, and Football are sports people can play for free and many Black people get into it from a young age. Most Black Boxers don't pay to get into boxing because there fathers or other close fam or friends support them at a young age.
Eventually IMO that will happen in MMA and we will take over the sport but as for now Blacks just don't have enough training and it's not enough of us to make that much of an impact.
BTW, it's a lot more factors in MMA than just pure athletisism, it's takes real skill to grapple.
I think races are as different as different breeds of dogs. we all have different attributes.

theres nothing racist about the truth
its not racism, there are different societies in the world and they all have there strengths and weaknesses
face the facts
NBA - Michael Jordna
Golf - Tiger Woods
Boxing - Muhammad Ali
NFL - Jerry Rice, LT, Walter Payton, Reggie White, but theres still Joe Montana, etc
Tennis - Venis and Serena Williams
The african american society has dominated sports for years, its not a competition among race its just how it is.

There could be many social and genetic reasons for the black athletic dominance you refer to.
However, football (soccer ) is the biggest sport in the world. The best players are evenly distributed between races.
Why?...
I think because, like mma, there are many ways to play the game. Any physical advantage can be exploited, any weakness overcome by a given competitor.
I won't go out on a limb with any race-specific examples, but I'm pretty sure what I'm saying will be proven to be the case.
It is true that only a fool would assume there are no physical differences between races (or mental for that matter - but that's a whole other taboo), but equally only a fool would assume that one race has an advantage in every faculty and every sport.
git.

Alright I am white and I'm going to join into this conversation, not from a white person's pont of view but from a PERSON's point of view. When it comes to opinion or fact, no matter the subject I believe we are all just one race: the human race. That said, I am going to quote Chris Rock lol.
(paraphrased due to not having seen the routine in a while) "...you know why black people dominate every sport? This goes back to the slave days. When the white people would find a black man who was trying to learn how to read, or showed signs of intelligence, they KILLED them. They would take the biggest, strongest slaves and breed them to try and make a 'super slave.' This history carries on today and that is why you see so much dominance in pro sports"
I believe that black people are physically stronger than white people. I believe it's in their genetic make-up. However, mma, or more specifically brazilian jiu-jitsu invented a way to neutralize any strength advantage your opponent has on you. It all comes down to who studied their game better, not what race the fighter is.
