found this on UFC.com...this has to be the most Matt Hughes biased article I've read yet. This must have been written before news of BJ's injury. You all may disagree, but to me it has bias written all over it LOL!

I didnt see a problem with that article except for the fact that the guy should realise that u train differently for different fighters, and also that Hughes didnt win the 2nd round.

Yea, I read that and threw up in my mouth a little. Wondering why UFC would allow that on their front page.

It does not surprise me at all. The UFC tends to take care of their champions, especially Hughes and Liddell who have been in the UFC for a while now. With the loyalty those two have shown to the UFC I would do the same thing.

I had no problem with the article. Wouldn't have given Hughes the second round but if it was written post fight he was right on for the most part.

Afro, are you referring to the statement below? I believe the writer meant that Penn won the first fight and Hughes the second. He did specifically say later in the article that Penn won the first round of last Sat. fight, but he doesn't say either way who won the second round.
"The stunning outcome of the main event at UFC 63 demands a third fight between welterweight champion Matt Hughes and BJ Penn. The first two battles between these MMA veterans were stirring affairs. Round one went to the better fighter. Round two was won by the better athlete. It's only natural that we get a third go-round. "

I didn't find this article biased toward Hughes at all. What part of it bugs you?
