I haven't created many threads, the vast majority of my posting has been offereing my thoughts so I didn't know I could do more than 4 on the poll.
Oh well, I didn't do it up right but from what I've read it's a mix of Randleman, Fujita, Cro Cop, Nog I and Nog III. Then there is a Schilt, Goodridge and Zulu so there are around 8 different Fedor fights that people liked the most, which is what I was trying to find out.
My personal favorite has been the Fujita fight. That fight was like watching a Rocky movie, the sequence of events where Fedor got crushed with that haymaker, did the fish dance, then got picked up and slammed, then within about 90 seconds turned the fight around with such a sick combo... Liver kick, left hook, overhand right that dropped Fujita against the ropes, then Fedor slaps on the rnc and chokes Fujita virtually unconscious adn all the while Fedor is receiving his praise for the victory Fujita is still on the ground lying motionless.
The Herring fight was the greatest display of gnp in MMA to date IMO. And Fedor being a big underdog in that fight also adds to it's value. Bas mentions the power of Igor and Goodridge in the guard but Fedor proved he is in a league of his own in this fight, and followed it up by another display of some of the greatest gnp you're ever likely to see, on Nog for the title.
I used Nog III in the pole because it was a more exciting fight than Nog I and Fedor really went for a lot more in Nog III... Nog losing that weight to make himself quicker ended up being a hinderence and he could not get Fedor the the ground and was just beaten and tossed around. And it was also cool having Couture commentate the fight alongside Bas and Mauro.
Thanks everyone for your insight and I'm glad you guys liked the thread eventhough it is lacking more fight options.

so many, in no particular order, cc, herring, tk2, fujita, nogs. even the hunt fight, it looked like for a second hunt might have actually had him, imagine hunt not being able to muscle out that arm.

Gary Shaw: Exactly, because the UFC is run by a jazzercize instructor and EliteXC is run by a real promoter.

Other than Fujita nearly KOing Fedor, Hunt kimura and Americana were the closest Fedor has come to losing a fight. I was in absolute shock while watching that fight. I kept thinking "Holy shit...he's going to tap to a superweight kickboxer."
Another sign that he was really close was how pissed off Fedor got after he escaped the submission. You could tell by the way he was fighting that he was not happy with himself for letting himself get put in that position.
Can you imagine how much Hunt's standing would have increased if he had pulled that off?

Fact is, Fedor has had alot of phenomenal fights. His level of domination is not something we've seen anyone else duplicate. I can't wait to see him fight again. Great thread man, nice to have a thread where people aren't just bashing on him.
