Bisping was in the main event vs Rashad at UFC 78.
I do agree with Bisping having more speed at combo's (explosiveness) but definitely lacks Quarry's punching power.

This looks like a pretty good fight to me and will be a really tough match-up for Bisping. I think Quarry's striking has improved to a point that its just slight better then Bisping's. He also has much heavier hands going against a guy that has never really had his chin tested. I think Quarry KOs Bisping in the 3rd in this fight happens.
Then Quarry will be in line to face Okami for the MW title.

I agree with most of your post. I think Bisping is very accurate without significant power...I think Nate has a very good chin [yes, Franklin scored the HLR KO, but nonetheless] and his striking has improved to exceed Bispings...I think they're both going to score with a lot of shot...I just think it's going to hurt more when Quarry lands them.
But I'm not sure if you're saying a win would but Nate in a title fight against Okami [meaning Okami would have beaten A. Silva?], or that he should then fight Okami to determine who will fight A. Silva...but either way, I disagree.
I think Okami has earned the next title fight against Silva outright.
I think Henderson and Franklin need to fight...and potentially...if Nate KO's Bisping, he could face the winner of that fight to determine who gets a shot at the MW champion...after A. Silva and Okami have determined who it would be.

I mean it as Okami will be the next MW champion. I have been calling since Pride of a Champion, Okami will beat A. Silva via TKO in the 4th.

I see Quarry KOing Bisping by the end of the second round. I would have rather seen Leben but this is probably the best replacement you could ask for.
As far as title shots go, I'm all for giving Silva some fresh meat. Sure a rematch with Hendo would be sweet but I don't want to see Silva fight the same 3 or 4 guys his whole career. Let the winner fight for a title! Silvas demolished the UFC's top MW's, throw some new blood in there! Almeida, Quarry Bisping, Macdonald, maybe GSP someday, bring over Sonnen and Filho if he'll fight. Line em up and let Silva knoch em down but please, I'm in no hurry to see Silva/ Franklin 6 or Silva/ Hendo 4 at UFC 100.

Winner of this fight should fight winner of Almeida-Cote, winner of that fights winner of Hendo-Franklin (provided they don't move up) for a title shot.
I'm amazed by this board though, I think Quarry is seriously overrated, it also seems as though you are underrating Bisping. Quarry's only hope would be to knock Bisping out, a guy who spent 95 % of his career at LHW and has never been knocked out.

Well, you'll be able to say you called it first if it happens. I disagree, but we'll see.

Quarry likes to bang, but he's very comfortable on the ground as well. I think he has more tools to win the fight than Bisping.
