I'm to the point where I want him to succeed.
I'm tired of the hate, the criticisms, the demands for top competition. He's progressing exactly how he should. Thompson has been in the ring with some great fighters (And lost usually). That's a good start. If Kimbo fares well, test him against another decent HW and see how he does. Then raise the bar. If he's beating them soundly, he should be facing top 15-20 guys in 7-10 fights as a pro. Is that too much to ask?
Hype is one thing, but cooking the goose that laid the golden egg just so people can see how it tastes is just plain stupid.
