You don't make any sense, you're saying part of the UFC's favoritism has to do with race and people who can and can't speak english, but then why the fuck did the UFC want GSP to beat Serra?? GSP got that respect because he's had an amazing carreer and he's beaten some of the best, just like Hughes, and Franklin. Well, I guess the fact that Randy was the President of the little inner circle until his leaving the UFC, Karo got screwed repeatedly prior to his losing to Thiago, Tito practically carried the company on his back, and Serra was treated like a second class citizen even though he had the belt.

I guess you're completely right. They just don't get it anymore......like Frank Shamrock when he walked away. Like Randy when he walked away. Like Tito when he walked away. Like when Penn walked away. Like when Pulver walked away. I hope that even you can get the point here. The UFC does some shady shit and coddles certain fighters. IT'S OBVIOUS and HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH SKILL.

I don't disagree that those guys have earned their stripes. That's fine. The thing is, a buddy system like that really hurts some talented guys and in turn hurts the fans.

Sure he has a quirky style and outspoken personality, but the man is speaking his mind about some things that he felt were wrong about the UFC. So what? If nobody brings these things to light, they don't get addressed.

Shonie wasn't 3-0 when Newton got the title shot and Newton wasn't 1-2.

So right there means you need to stop listening to the guy run his mouth.

Shonie was 2-0 in the UFC and Newton was 1-1 in the UFC and that only loss was a close split decision to Dan Henderson.

Newton got his title shot at 31 and Shonie got his 3rd win in the UFC at 31.

Also maybe Shonie didn't get the shot because Pat beat him about 2 years prior to UFC 31.

Shonie is funny at times but is mostly a clown.

Dork is right too. Very right. Shonie was never even remotely close to a contender, and he's not bright enough to put himself in there politically. That's what pisses him off. For all the ranting, whining and crying Shonie does, he's awful at it and contrary to most people like that, he mostly ends up making himself much worse off than he was before his clown show. He reminds me of a wannabe dennis rodman. The difference is Rodman was extremely successful at it.

I'm VERY glad he's not in the UFC.

Pretty sure UFC was not owned by Dana and Lorenzo and his brother when Randy walked away the first time.

Penn went to fight for K-1 and UFC stripped him of the belt. So can't really blame the UFC for not wanting there WW champ to fight for another Org

I don't know why Pulver left the company so i won't comment on that.

Zuffa didn't even own UFC when Frank Shamrock walked away.

Karo didn't get repeatedly screwed out of anything. He got injured and yes got screwed out of that title shot BUT then he lost to Diego. So he had to work his way back up, he did and then he lost again. So i have no idea what you mean.

Tito always has something to bitch about, but Zuffa did own it when he walked.

They cater to Rich, Chuck, Hughes, Tito i don't care what Tito says, UFC kissed his ass too, GSP, and Randy

And you say it has nothing to do with skill, yet all of these fights are skilled fighters, not to mention very marketable. Maybe it don't have to do with skill but its odd that the fighters the do the most ass kissing to are top of the food chain fighters.

Why are they going to coddle fighters who don't bring them excess amounts of money and shit like that. Sure there are some that don't get there ass kissed but if your good, and marketable, watch out because you will become rich.

They sure aren't going to work with Frank Shamrock.

Karo was guaranteed to have a title shot and then went into a terrible matchup with Thiago (Admittedly on his part, should have fought Fitch).

Tito is very vocal.

Penn was stripped for leaving. He was not going to renew, title or not.

Pulver left over.......you guessed it, a contract dispute.

Were the guys mentioned as being in the circle truly top-tier fighters? Franklin? Couture? Tito? Liddell? I would venture to say that there were better fighters at each of these weights during their time as title-holders. Hughes is the only one I can't. Marketing is what made them household names. They are marketable. You hit that one on the head.

Shonie is a good ambassador for the sport but a bad ambassador for himself with his antics. However, there is definitely an inner-circle in my opinion.
