well if he won against vera and nog who is rumored 2 be fighting in august, if that happens i think he would be fighting mir, then the winner of these 2 fihts could fight at the end of december

Vera is half Filipino/Italian born and raise in California, but at the same time i don't blame you for mistaken him as Mexican...Filipinos and Mexicanos had some similarity in culture and both of them are mix Spanish decent.

I have a sneaking suspicion, Arlovski has re-signed quielty with the UFC, and gets the title shot in August. I think it will be announced at the next pay per view.

If that happens, the earliest Werdum would get his title shot is winter 09. Nogueira probably isn't going to fight in Decemeber if he fights in August. They usually hold him back 6 months before another fight, especially a title defense.

I think there are some good fights still available in the division; the mix isn't that bad - Herring, Kong, Mir, Vera, Werdum, Gonzaga...if AA stays (is it official he is gone?) and CC returns, the division looks okay to me. I guess no one is really a clear contender, but just line 'em up and have Nog knock 'em down.

I agree with this, I think Vera is gonna smash Werdum with some devastating knees and take the fight.

That would be the only fight that makes sense. Isnt AA going to fight on the Fedor vs Sylvia card?? If Nog isnt fighting AA in august I hope there not giving Mirr a title shot. Hearring has already fought Nog a million times and Kongo just lost to Hearring so hopefully Dana got a brain and resigned AA.
