UFC 85 To Be Aired On Pay Per View Not Spike

MMANEWS.com as well as many in the forum claim that UFC 85 would be aired for free on Spike TV via time delay in addition to the live event being aired on PPV. However, according to the UFC website, it will air on pay per view. It makes no mention of the live event being pay per view and then it airing free on Spike. And they have updated the UFC website to note all of the recently added matchups including Bisping-Leben, Hughes-Alves and Irvin-Evans. It also looks like Vera-Werdum got pushed all the way back to being #4 in priority on the card after it was listed as main event for a few days while everything else was sorted.

ugh, no way in hell am I paying 45 bucks for that card.

yes, or streams... though I don't trust them much cause they tend to crap out when something good is happening.

It's looking like the main card will be:

Hughes vs Alves (Main Event)
Bisping vs Leben
Davis vs Swick
Evans vs Irvin
Werdum vs Vera

I dont understand why people are crying and bitching about this being on ppv. This looks like a DAMN GOOD card to me

Now that it is official I will say it is a good card. Back when it looked like it was just Evans/Irvin, Werdum/Vera and Davis/Swick it was a decent card, but not PPV quality. Adding Hughes/Alves, and Bisping/Leben makes it a lot better. I feel bad for the guys who originally thought they had a PPV spot only for it to go to shit because of all the changes made.

The stream of ufc 83 i got was great didn't cut out once and quality was excellent. Which site do you use for streams?

I was wondering why people are bitching about the card as well. They have really come though after losing Liddell for this ppv.

I agree about the card being great now that they have made some changes. I would order it just to see Hughes fight and then the Bisping-Leben fight is great. The others are just icing. I get to see Rashad beat Irvin whom I hate and Swick-Davis could headline an UFN so to see it as a fight on PPV is good too. Don't really care for the Vera-Werdum fight. It's overrated vs boring as hell. Which is the lesser of two evils.
