Black Belt Marcio Feitosa Is Helping Sean Sherk For His Fight Againts Bj Penn
Quote:
As reported by GRACIEMAG.com, black belt Marcio Feitosa is helping American Sean Sherk in training for his fight against BJ Penn to take place on May 24 and worth the UFC lightweight belt. After his initial activities with his latest student, Marcinho commented on the experience: “In daily training Sean shared all his ideas about techniques and physical training with me. We mainly did drills and Jiu-Jitsu work. I was impressed, Sean is in good shape for the fight, he will surely be an explosive presence.”
Marcinho also recalled how the partnership with the former lightweight champion began. “We met five years ago, when I did a Jiu-Jitsu seminar at Minnesota Martial Arts Academy. He did not participate, but we had the chance to talk and he was really cool. Seeing his UFC fights I knew Sean would be a great fighter, but seeing the guy train had me totally impressed.

I have never heard of Feitosa, how good is he?
It would be stupid of Sherk to train his BJJ with Lesnar and "The Goat" for this fight anyways. The last two BJJ blackbelts he faced werne't on Penn's level and he knows it

Is he related to Glaube Feitosa? if so we could be seeing Sherk using a Wicked Brazilian Kick!
Seriously,
Marcio Feitosa is the head instructor Gracie Barra, the Brazilian jiu-jitsu team headed by Carlos Gracie Jr. that has produced such competitors as Renzo Gracie, the Machado brothers, Nino Schembri and many others. Marcio himself has extensive competition experience, and has won the prestigious ADCC championships, the World Brazilian Jiu-jitsu championships and the Pan American championships.

Doesn't seem like a bad guy to be training with. He is going to need all of the help he can get.

Sherk is still going to get slaughtered. See what BJ did to Joe Daddy, and I think he had a soft spot for him. Sherk is gonna bleed and cry.

For Sherk it's a good thing, even though i havent heard of Feitosa. In my opinion BJ will catch him on the feet instead of a sub. I think Sherk can possibley take BJ down but it wouldnt do him much good if he did.

Feitosa fought in IFL once, losing a split decision to Bart Palaszewski.

Sherk apparently has great boxing, but i honestly see Penn picking him apart right from the start.
Feitosa isn't going to change a thing. Sherk needs to use power and lay n pray this to a decision.
