MMA Draft

So, this weekend, I was sitting there watching the NFL draft and it kind of got me thinking. Now I know this probably sounds like a dumb idea, it's a completely different kind of sport, and weight classes pretty much change everything up.

But let's say that there is an MMA Draft and you're on the clock. Who do you pick? Any weight class, any organization. It's your choice. Who would be the number one pick? Do you go with the current best pound for pound fighter, or maybe a younger guy with a bright future ahead?

I'm just kind of curious as to who people would pick.

Look at it from the perspective that you're starting up a new MMA organization and you need to pick one fighter to start off with.

Man that's a tough call, so many great people to chose from: GSP, Silva, Fedor, Abbadi, Starnes, McCarthy, Lutter, Grove, the list just goes on.

Seriously though, probably GSP or Silva.

i'd go with rampage, he's the most exciting fighter in my eyes, and after the show's done he'll have just as much exposure as anyone
