Ok Shields takes Hughes no question
BJ: I have to agree with Cesar a little Jake has amazing cardio if they bothe work each other on a ground clinic for all to watch I think Jake might just take it with BJ gassing. No saying BJ isn"t better but Jake can hang with him on the ground and has way better cardio. If it got to their fee watch out Jake because you are dead meat.
GSP:Pretty good match GSP cant out muscle Jake like he does most on the ground and Jake is just plain better than GSP on the ground...ALL the people sucking GSP nads right now... NO GSP IS NOT BETTER THAN JAKE ON THE GROUND...Get over it. But GSP like pen can totally take him standing up Jake needs to go to another camp for his striking if he is to ever get better at it.
The one think I do have to say I gotta give Jake props and he is a Top 5 WW in the league. If you don't think so you better go educate your self.

My thoughts exactly. Maybe Jake could finish Hughes... but I think there is other motives behind Cesar's words.
I am still not completely sold on Shields yet anyway.

Gracie MMA Math
Remember Shields lost to Akira Kilkuchi who lost to Jared Rollins... Guess Shields better watch out for Rollins.. and Koppenhaver too!

Would jake beat Hughes yes. The fight with BJ IMO would be closer because of Jakes size but I still think BJ wins. GSP will face a very good BJJ player in Jon Fitch who has beaten Jake in a sub match, if GSP could deal with Fitch I am pretty sure that he can deal with Jake. Most of Shields Subs are RNC I doubt that he takes GSP's back.

You got it reversed, Jake beat Fitch. Plus, although Fitch is technically better than GSP in BJJ, he's not in the same level of Shields.
EDIT: Oh yea and Just to add, Jake didn't just beat fitch, he outclassed him. Fitch had nothing for him. Jake swept him plenty of times, had 2 guillotines locked and made him tap out to the RNC. The thing we also have to remember is a lot of things to do change in MMA when you add in strikes to the ground which a lot of people tend to forget. They think ground game just means Fighters A's BJJ vs Fighter B's BJJ.

Really then what is this? otm.proelite.com » Jake Shields vs. Jon Fitch: Jake Shields: otm video
Granted jake has some incredible BJJ, but I do not think that he would catch GSP or sweep him.

Yea I didn't get why they raised Fitches arm either Shields controlled Fitch that whole fight and had subs attempts set the whole time. Did Jake tap in the end or something that thing didn't look right?? Maybe the judges don"t know shit???
HEY PEOPLE BEING ON TOP DOESN"T MEAN SOMEONE IS WINNING!!!!
