On the fight itself, I see this looking a lot like Chuck's matchup with Wandy, but ending with a TKO victory for Liddell. Shogun's not going to outstrike Liddell, and he won't be taking him down.
beat me by a couple minutes

It won't be shogun, to early to return from a torn ACL.

After this fight Chuck should fight the winner of Machida and Rampage (Sometime in Early Oct) after they both win their next fights, in the big end of the year show. if Chuck wins that fight he fights maybe once or twice more before moving up to Heavyweight, if he loses, he goes straight up to heavyweight after.

War Chuck!
You may be getting a little ahead of yourself. Machida has to beat Tito before he gets to Rampage and there's no gurantee that's going to happen. As for Chuck moving up to heavyweight, that isn't happening either. Chuck is almost 40. He may try to make one more title run and if that doesn't happen, he will most likely retire. Don't look for Chuck to be fighting in his mid 40's like Couture. Unlike Couture, Chuck doesn't exactly live a clean lifestyle so his body won't hold up like Randy's. And Chuck hasn't fought more than once every 5-6 months in a while. If that's the case, and he fights in August, he won't fight again until Jan/Feb at the earliest.

Ahem, ahem, I believe I hinted at this in the original post about Chuck being hurt . I hope this comes through. It's a shame it didn't happen.

Behind Chuck/Wandy this to me is one of the most anticipated fights in UFC's recent history

i agree. more than likely, it wont be shogun (but im crossing my fingures it is). i say if they cant do chuck vs. shogun, maybe a chuck vs. the winner of wandy vs. jardine since he needsto rematch both guys before he's considered for another title shot imo.

That would rule and it's a better fight for Chuck. If he wins, it is a substantial victory. If he loses, he loses to a great and established opponent.
