I would say that it was a combination of staging and GSP's sometimes awkward english. What would sound innocent to him might not come across that way to someone who speaks english...that and Matts ego probably couldnt take a comment like that after he beat (stopped) one of the few people who holds a win over him.

He got rocked on three shots watch it again in boxing they would have given him a standing eight on thoes and if you don't think thoes matter you are sadly mistaken. I like Matt and I like BJ but BJ did tool him for the first 2 rounds unless you are blind. Its ok to be a have your favorate fighters and everything but man face the facts Matt got Tooled and was increadable with how much he could take (ala Rocky hahaha) to come back and land that crucifix. I would like to think that that whole deal with GSP was staged. I f not thats kinda lame to come in and insult the guy who's the champ. Not to mention jst beat someone u lost too. Also last time beat u in one rd. Classless if u ask me......still hope he beats hughes. unless he keeps runnin his mouth. I hate that crap.

Matt got out worked the first 2 rounds. BJ picked him apart with solid strikes, stuffed his takedowns and was in control. When Matt finally got him down he couldn't pass his gaurd and BJ took his back and almost submitted him. He did school Matt, i'm not bashing, but it's obvious if you watch the fight. Matt is great, but he got tooled, no reason to get upset. Matt won because BJ's terrible cardio (that's BJ's fault) but anyone could have beaten BJ at the point, he looked like a corpse. So i think the win has more to do with BJ's lack of cardio then Matt's skill.

Good fight. BJ showed he is one of the best, and Matt showed he is the best. He always seems to find a way to win, its incredible. I would love to see BJ fight Nick Diaz, BJ would win, but it would be a good fight. I kinda see everyone saying BJ beat himself, but also Matt refused to lose to BJ again.
