Default What is your favorite ending to any MMA fight you've ever seen?
I know this has been done before but I would like to hear everyone's opinion on their favorite ending to a fight.

One of my favs in recent history was the ending of the Leben/Martin fight. Both were tired and Leben looked rocked but came back w/ that nasty left and knocked Terry Martin out. Lets hear some opinions.

Someone getting their head kicked off is always a real beauty. Domination like Fedor on Nog or Wandy on rampage. Or fights that end in a fashion like penn vs stevenson fight. There are a few more I can think of but those are the first things that popped up in my head.

Hughes vs Trigg 2, when Matt picked him up and slammed him after getting hit in the balls was classic. I know that wasn't the end but it was the beggining of it.


I also like to see a nice sub like Gomi vs Diaz.

2) Shogun KOing Overeem with that lunging right hand, leaping through Overeems guard
3) Shinya Aolki flying arm triangle on Clay French
4) Chonan flying scissor heel hook (this is probabaly the best ending to an MMA fihgt to date)
5) Rampage powerbombing Arona
6) Sakuraba breaking Renzo's arm
7) Dan Severn destroying Oleg Taktarov's face with knees
8) Gomi vs Azeredo I

Those are a few off the top of the head.

Then you would love watching Aoki's subs. He gogo'd Hansen before Diaz gogo'ed Gomi, a much better feat than Diaz Gogoing a tired Gomi.

Gulliard/Stevenson was one of the funniest things ive ever seen.Melvin talked tons of trash before the fight (as he usually does) then gets tapped in a matter of seconds.How could anyone hate that ending?
Then theres the Pete Sell and Scott Smith fight.No one saw that finish coming.
