I think maybe, Silva should focus on who is probably going to be his next oppenant, then focusing on perhaps a boxing match with Jones Jr.
Do I have start like an Okami v. Silva '08 campagin or something in order to see this fight?

I really don't see a lot that Okami would bring other than an official loss. In the old UFC, they would have called that an ass kicking, but now it goes as a win. There needs to be a DQ category rather than give a win to the opponent in a situation like that. Poor decision made be Silva, but he definitely did not lose that fight.

Seems like I hear people talk negatively about Tito's wrestling more so than positively.
If tito comes in shape, in the kind of shape to go 5 rounds even though he only has to go 3, i honestly see him taking this fight without any controversy. Call me crazy, but thats just how i see it

All I have to say is he took Liddell down in their last fight, he took Rashad down in their fight, and he took Forrest down... all three have great takedown defense and they knew he was going for a takedown.
People make a big deal about how Tito "telegraphs" his shots, but every fighter's game plan is to keep a sizable distance between them and Tito because they know it's comming and eventhough he has to close the distance everytime he still gets the takedown because his follow-through is as good as it gets.

You make a great point when stating who Tito has taken down in previous fights, but I've been thinking about the match-up style wise, and I'm hoping that machida doesnt make Tito look stupid. He's real light on his feet and has that goofy ass awkward yet effective karate style. Do you see Tito getting around that in the fight? I see it going 1 of 2 ways:
1.) Tito takes machida down at will and just beats on him because i highly doubt machida will submit him.
2.) Tito tries to find his range so he can get a takedown, all the while being made look like a fool due to machida's elusive and awkward standup style.
I'm leaning more towards 1.) , but I could see it going the other way. I'm not limiting my expectations to just these 2 outcomes, but these are the 2 that I have played in my mind the most

I think Tito's standup is as good as it's ever been... he even outstruck Liddell in the 2nd round of their fight and Machida doesn't have any KO power. With that being said, I think Tito can engage enough to set up a takedown... even if Machida totally decimates Tito standing I think he will be able to take Machida down when ever he wants.

Yea I agree that tito's boxing has looked better. Hell he even came out with a high kick first thing in the rashad fight, but didn't Machida ko rich franklin?
Ah well when I read that last question to myself i realize that ko'ing rich doesnt speak much for your ko power considering his glass chin
