I think it makes sense but only because money talks louder then words. Kimbo vs. Lashley on elite's first CBS show would be huge. As far as Lashley he needs drop a shit load of that roid weight for him to successful in MMA. His frame is way too small for his muscle mass.

as far as this making sense, from a BUSINESS standpoint...how many people would really tune into CBS to watch a bobby lashley fight? Probably a lot. Especially the moronic type pro wrestling fans that dont know much about MMA. Just the way Brock brought dough to the UFC.

No matter how much the real MMA fans think bla bla bla stupid matchup bla bla bla not a real MMA fighter bla bla bla, there is still a TON of marketability especially since it would end up on network TV.

I personally think its a stupid matchup and like most of you would love to see a Kimbo/Buentello fight, but Gary Shaw is going to do whats best for his pockets more than likely.

I think its not out of the realm of possibility that Gary Shaw makes a bid for this fight to happen.

In my opinon this fights makes sense both from business and because they are both new fights. Ummmm, guys Kimbo is not that good. He has beaten Bo Catrell and Tank Abbot. I like Tank and all but he has recieved one too many ass kickings in the last couple years to be considered legit by any means.

Lashley would offer Kimbo worlds of problems. One he would be the first guy he has fought that is hands down stronger then him. You guys think Kimbo his big, I am pretty sure Lashley would drawf him. The first guy ever that would probably just take him down and take him down and take him down. If any of you guys have ever seen Lashley wrestle you would know that this guy has amazing ability. Kind of another verison of Brock Lesnar.

Kimbo is not ready for a guy like the Headhunter or Thomson, hell not even an overwieght drugged up Ricco would have a problem with Kimbo. He needs to keep fighting guys that are at the same expierence level as him.
