Shaolin bets on Gesias at Dream
Shaolin bets on Gesias at Dream :: TATAME
The black-belt Vitor Shaolin keeps training hard to come back soon to the rings. Besides his name is still esteemed for Dream’s lightweight GP, that’ll have it’s first edition at March 15th at Japan, the Nova União’s athlete guarantees that isn’t with 100% to come back yet. “March 15th is tomorrow, and I’m still over weighted. I’m with 82kg. I can possibly do a fight but I won’t get in the GP, at least at this first edition. I’m getting ready to come back at April or May”, told Shaolin, that believes in a victory of his Hero’s GP’s enemy, Gesias Cavalcanti.
“Everybody is good in this GP. There are 4 editions, still has too much water to roll, but watching the names I can’t point anyone but Gesias. That guy is two times Hero’s GP’s champion and must come well prepared to this competition too. There are Buscapé, Kawajiri, Hansen, but I bet on Gesias, even though it’s better for me if he wins, because I would have lost for the champion”, said Shaoiln.

JZ is facing Aoki correct?
so if he beats Aoki he potentially has to fight Kawajiri or Hansen?

Yes, that is the first round matchup, if he wins he faces the winner of one of the following:
Kultar Gill vs. Tatsuya Kawajiri
Koutetsu Boku vs. Joachim Hansen
Luiz Firmino vs. Kazuyuki Miyata

Ya I understand it now
So were more then likely gonna see Kawajiri vs JZ? just amazing..
I want Kawajiri to win the whole damn thing, and cant wait to see him fight JZ assuming no ridiculously gay upsets happen or JZ gets past Aoki which will be tough either way Aoki vs Kawajiri would be amazing too.

No doubt - cannot complain about those matches 1 bit.
I really hope Aoki beats JZ, but I am not seeing it happen.

Well lets not forget that JZ is only a purple belt, and the fight will probably take place on the ground.. I think Aoki can sub JZ
hes a well rounded fighter, but theres certain style matchups that can give him real hell.. Aoki really isnt that bad of a matchup for him but Aoki can exploit the one weakness in his ground game or rather the one aspect where Aoki has the huge advantage.
On top of that, hes gonna have to face Kawajiri afterwards.. Kawajiri isnt as bad of a matchup as a Takanori Gomi would be.. but a guy that can keep JZ standing and outstrike him would give him hell as well.. and Kawajiri has good TDD and hes a great striker with a lot of KO power.
So this is a real test for JZ, if he wins the whole thing no doubt is he the #1 LW in the world right now.
