I'm sick of hearing this. Sure there are fighters that said Dana White or the company treated them poorly(Nick Diaz, Ken Shamrock, Randy Couture, etc.), but there are also fighters that say Dana or the company has treated them well(Chuck Liddell, Mirko Filipovic, Matt Hughes, etc.). Considering there are fighters on both ends of things, it would be inaccurate to say that "He(Dana) treats his fighters like shit and owns them."

Why the hell would you want that?! Just because you hate Dana White? LOL. Thats pretty stupid. UFC gives us great chances to watch fights on cable and such. They give us great UFNs and behind the scenes access before big PPVs. Go to EliteXC? Are you kidding me? Don't know why some of you hate Dana just because he doesn't give you EVERY damn fighter in the world in the organization. And if you don't like his cocky attitude well too bad. I wouldn't want him to be all soft giving crying fighters the salaries they want. Come on don't give in to all those articles talkin crap about Dana, hes done way more good than bad. He even had the balls to admitting he fuked up a relationship with AA. Give him a break.

The only reason why I say YES, is because we'll see cross promotion... No I would not like to see the majority of the fighters leave the UFC for another org,.. I want balance. I want EXC/Dream, etc to hold half of the best fighters and the UFC the other half so we can see cross promotional fights. As long as the UFC holds the majority of the talent, why cross promote?

Sure these other orgs say they would like to cross promote but what if they were in the same position the UFC is right now? You think they would still be saying the same thing?? I say "hell no" lol

The UFC didnt cross promote when they had the second most talent to PRIDE either.

But I dont see why your cross promotion is such a big deal. The whole point of cross promotion is that you have the best fighting the best. Isnt that what we pretty much already have in the UFC? I mean, there are a few guys who are exceptions, but the amount of top guys fighting each other is probably better than it ever has been.

And yes, the Dana doesnt treat his fighters that badly. Yeah he trashes guys in other orgs, but thats not what we are talking about. Most fighters in the UFC are actually pretty happy. Yeah, there are some sqeaky wheels, but you will always have some guys complaining. I remember Latrell Sprewell complaining about only getting 7 million a year in the NBA and saying that he couldnt feed his family and shit with that kind of contract. And look at Terell Owens in the NFL. A few guys complaining doesnt mean that everybody is being treated like shit.

why does cross promoting really matter? Is your objective as an MMA viewer to see the best fights or to see companies cross promote?

I wanna see the best fights naturally. I dont care what org or ORGS it's in. I just know some of the best fighters are not going to be with the UFC. I think cross promoting opens up doors to see fights we all want to see... but like I said, If the UFC solidifys itself as the premier MMA org,(that carries 95 percent of all top talent) great, but I see other orgs like EXC etc, gaining some steam.

Short term not so good. Long term, good. The UFC is still going to attract top competition. It would just put some names out there to possibly boost a truly competiitive 2nd org which I think would drive positive changes and growth from both orgs.

Personally, I don't like Dana and would love to see all UFC's best go to Elite, even though I'm sure that wont happen, but if it did, how would you all feel?
I think thats a dumb fucking Idea.

Dana an Zuffa are to good to lose people like that. Sure Tito might leave but oh well.

Was this thread needed.

The hate for Dana is strong an becoming overwhelmingly sick.
