Yeah as others have said he's a decent enough coach and corner man but just doesn't make it as an exciting fighter. Likes himself a bit much as well.

If Franklin were to face Silva again I hope for his sake he makes some changes in his training camp.

i think rich needs to go back to his training regimen we saw on all access for the crow fight. he's had the most success there.

not sure what matchups would work best for Gurgel at 145 at this point. I do know that it is good to see him on the winning track and that could be turned into a good transition for him to do well in WEC at 145 he simply lacks the size and skill level to compete at a high level within the UFC and its ultra deep and very talented level of fighters. But with his jiu jitsu being as good as it is with great muy thai striking ability perhaps a good future and some good matchups at 145 in WEC would revamp his entire rep and career.

Whoever said jorge doesnt put on an exciting fight is dumb, his fights are usually entertaining.

And everyone always harp on Rich switching camps, but isn't anderson silva and machida the only ones to beat franklin under jorge gurgels watch???

His fights with Silva shows that there is room for improvement and he isn't going to get that where he's at now.
