I find it completely laughable that the Yakuza is going to tell another Japanese fighter not to compete against a Croatian, using American cliches for Italian mafia.

This whole story smacks of a hoax perpetrated by someone with no actual worldly knowledge.

The Yakuza has been involved with K-1 for a while. Remember the Bob Sapp/Maurice Smith situation not too long ago? The Cro Cop story is probably bs but it wouldn't surprise me if this has happened in the past.

Crocop Story is very possible, b/c one of his Japanese Agent was involved with Yakuza and he is also involved in The K-1 corporate tax scandal hit full steam in late 2002...his name is Ken Imai.
