Josh Koschecks response to Diego Sanchez's comments

IMO with certain fights/wins this fight can and probably will happen either later this year or early next year. I am not of FAN of either, but I like both of them in the octogon.

I think Diego takes Kos in a rematch. I would love to see the fight, and with the way Joe Silva has been setting up matches lately I can see it being set in stone with all the trash talking between the Diego and Kos.

I think it really will boil down to when each fighter fights next, because Joe Silva won't have either of them sitting on the bench for 8 months waiting on the other to heal an injury or something.

Speaking of Joe Silva, since I can't create my own threads yet I'll just say it here... Brock pounding Mark Coleman's face in does not excite me in the least. Honestly, neither did the rumor of Justin McCully....but at least that would of been entertaining. I think Joe Silva has been smoking the funny cigarette's or something. Setting up a stellar card like the next UFN, then announcing Brock vs Coleman is like getting a diamond ring then a few weeks later losing the diamond.

Id like to see them fight again. Bad blood always makes for pretty entertaining fights,and a healthy Diego would bring alot more fight then he did when he was sick. But I still believe Kos would take it,his wrestlings just to good for Diego.

I think if GSP wins against Serra, they set up Serra v. Hughes, Fitch v. GSP (for the title), and Kos v Karo/Alves winner for next title shot....Leaving Sanchez v Karo/Alves loser.

If Serra wins....Serra v Fitch, Kos v. Hughes, GSP v. Karo/Alves winner, Sanchez v. the loser.

Thats just how I would assume things would shake out. Doubt Sachez gets that fight with Kos right now...He hasn't earned it yet...

And probably a bad idea for him to want to fight Kos already...Taking all the personal hate everyone has for each fighter out of the equation....It's a bad match up for Sanchez. Kos's boxing is better, he's a little bit naturally bigger and stronger, and he dictates where the fight takes place. His boring ass loss to GSP and TKO win over Haezlett was nothing but a confidence boost for him. I see him handling Diego in a rematch fight now. Especially right now because Sanchez will be looking for the "homerun" in a rematch and I could see him getting caught...

IMO, Sanchez is cementing him self as the gatekeeper of the top 5 UFC ww's.

5. Kos

Agreed man, the voice of reason. I said the same shit earlier in this thread. I'd like to see Diego move down to 155lbs where I think he could be a real contender. Right now, at WW, I think he's a gatekeeper for the top 10.

It's hard to say who takes this third fight. The last time they fought Diego was really sick with a staph infection. I couldn't pick a winner right now
