I am hoping to see the Shogun from PRIDE because I never got so see any PRIDE events and I am tired of seeing over hyped PRIDE guys, minus Rampage(who happens to be my favorite fighter), Silva and Nog, getting beat down. I want to see the real Shogun and I would like to see the real CroCop if he were to ever return to the UFC.

Agreed, but I would disagree with you on one point...fighters like Shogun and Cro Cop weren't "overhyped" IMO...they underperformed. Big distinction.

Calling Shogun the number one ranked guy at 205 is overhyped. And CroCop was suposed to come in and dominate the HW div with his stand up and he really dominated no one of any mention.

I'm not trying to be argumentative with you, I'm just disagreeing with you here.

Many hardcore MMA fans (I don't say casual because most of them didn't know who Shogun was till he fought Forrest) did have Shogun as the #1 LHW in the world, and literally 99.9% of hardcore fans had him somewhere in the top 5 - e.g. higher than Forrest. Most hardcore MMA fans did expect him to do very well in the UFC - and he still might, just hit a speedbump in Forrest Griffin.

Cro Cop....again, it's not that he was overhyped, it is that he underperformed. Again, he's been the #2 or #3 HW on many MMA fans' lists for a couple years now...most did think he would work his way to the UFC HW title. The fact that he didn't isn't a reflection on where Cro Cop was ranked, it's a reflection on his performance against that ranking.

???? Before Shogun fought here in the states he WAS considred the #1 guy at 205 by almost everyone....it wasnt hype. the dude is a bad mofo. Hes had one fight in the ufc and performed badly. that doesnt make him overhyped... CC??? I'll agree with ya cuz i hate his guts...lol..
