I doubt the UFC will let a big investment like Shogun compete without being cleared by at least a couple of UFC hired doctors. They more than most, don't want to see Shogun in a position where he ruins his career by being overzealous.

I wasnt one of "those idiots judging shogun" but I dont really think they were judging him.

A lot of fighters juiced in pride and it was just a thought. And I for one dont think it was unjustified.

Yeah, I guess I missed the whole "judging" part. I was just speculating that one may believe that Shogun may again rush his rehab and jeopardize his career....and sometimes in desperation a fighter may resort to doing something stupid...like juicing.

Maybe he didnt rush....i just hope its not one of those knee injuries that wont go away. he wouldnt be the first real good athlete to have a career ended by that type of shit..

When you look at the injuries in the NBA (as a comparison) - this same type - a five month recovery is pretty fucking amazing.

now if you said that he was on steroids because he looked so bad against Forrest compared to his performances in Pride, you have a case.
