at least he has youth, but i'm sure he's anxious to win in the ufc, like he has to prove himself or something, i'd rather he take some extra time and come back fully healed, otherwise things are lookin pretty shitty.

I hate to say this but given the rumors of Pride doping, the video of Shogun with a set of steroid looking man boobs, and now back to back ligament injuries are there any inklings that Rua might be doping or have used steroids in the past ? Jesus, I hope not. I love this sport and really do not want to see it dragged through the mud like I have seen my other favorite sports disgraced. Is this just part of the times in which we now live? Can any dominate proformance not be questioned or do we need to be suspicious of everyone?

No Sport is sacred, doping is always part of the problem in all kinds of Sports...just wait after the Olympic events held in China, and we will see this kind of cases again.

Agreed, what is sad is that the Olympic method is the standard to be held up to when it comes to testing.

Goldie has a good point. Not only the fear that he has, but that he will resort to a steroid-esque remedy to help rehab his knee faster. Hopefully, Shogun is surrounded by good people that will make him take his time in rehabbing his knee and come back strong, healthy and legal.

If he thinks he is coming back in August, his career could end up in serious jepordy. He is hurt now because he rushed his rehab, he should just sit the rest of the year out and actually come back healthy
