I don't see Werdum being able to take down Vera. The only ways I see the fight going to the ground is if Vera rocks Werdum or if Werdum rocks Vera. Vera does have the superior standup and he loves to strike and if he gets his game going... I don't see Werdum doing much at all.

Lets remember Werdum has never been stopped and defeated GG twice.
The only way I see Vera winning is if he wins bye decision.

Though If we see the Werdum of the GG fight Vera in for a long night.

I like both fighters, but I see Vera taking this one. I can see them starting out tentative, and Vera then unleashing some solid shots. I think Vera will take it early second round with a solid TKO. But I also think one of them should have to defeat Tim to get a title shot.

You're kidding right? If Werdum comes out with that sloppy standup engaging Brandon Vera, he's going to get Knocked Out very quickly. The last thing Werdum wants to do is get in a clinch war with Vera.
